Sanhe Town All-Region Tourism Environment Improvement Project
Project Overview: This project employs a vacuum sewage collection system to gather wastewater. Specifically, the vacuum power station collects sewage via a negative-pressure pipeline network, and then uses pressurized pumping stations within the power station to boost the wastewater pressure before discharging it into the existing gravity sewer pipe.
Construction details: The Sanhe Town Comprehensive Tourism Environment Improvement Project, which includes the construction of a new 200 m³/day vacuum-powered source station, 94 vacuum wells, and 1.2 km of negative-pressure pipelines.
Construction outcomes: Addressing the challenges of collecting sewage in Sanhe Ancient Town, resolving the issue of wastewater from individual drainage units entering river channels, and effectively tackling the severe damage and defects in existing sewage pipelines. The project has successfully implemented stormwater-sewage separation, ensuring that all wastewater is ultimately routed to the wastewater treatment plant for proper processing.
