        The unit composed of a Roots vacuum pump and a screw vacuum pump combines the advantages of the screw vacuum pump, while simultaneously leveraging the high pumping speed of the series-connected Roots vacuum pump to significantly boost the overall pumping speed of the screw vacuum pump, thereby enhancing the ultimate vacuum level—and also enabling the entire evacuation system to achieve superior energy-saving performance.

        The Roots screw unit boasts high vacuum levels and exhibits excellent pumping efficiency within the high-vacuum range. Equipped with a complementary control system, the unit can automatically start and stop, while also featuring automatic protection functions such as overload, overcurrent, and water-loss detection. Additionally, the entire vacuum unit can undergo anti-corrosion treatment, making it suitable for applications involving the extraction of corrosive gases.

        The unit's vacuum pumps feature either a vertical stacking or stepped structure, resulting in a compact footprint. Additionally, each pump and its intermediate pipelines are designed to minimize the accumulation of foreign particles, giving these pumps a distinct advantage when extracting gases containing small amounts of condensable vapors or minimal dust.

        Based on factors such as the size of the system being evacuated and the operating pressure, the vacuum unit should be configured appropriately. The stage ratio (pumping speed ratio) between the individual pumps in the vacuum unit can typically range from 1:2 to 1:8. However, increasing the stage ratio will reduce the pumping efficiency of the vacuum pump, narrow the working pressure range, slow down startup, and extend the pre-evacuation time.
