The FSP series variable-pitch screw vacuum pump is a dry-type vacuum pump that achieves gas compression and suction by adjusting the variation in the screw pitch. Its key advantages include high efficiency, energy savings, low vibration, and minimal noise. Constructed from high-strength alloy steel with surface hardening treatment to enhance wear resistance, the pump features a screw design divided into three sections: the suction section, compression section, and discharge section. The screw pitch gradually decreases from the inlet to the outlet, creating a continuous compression chamber. Inside the pump housing, precision helical grooves are precisely engineered, maintaining a tiny clearance between the grooves and the screw’s outer edge to prevent gas leakage.
Characteristics of Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps
Oil- and water-free dry operation delivers a clean vacuum environment, while the frictionless screw-and-housing design ensures extended pump life. The innovative dry rotor design maximizes volumetric efficiency, eliminating the need for oil or water as media—and keeping costs low. Plus, the single-stage design makes it easy to remove solids from inside the pump.
The gas passage inside the pump is short, allowing for rapid gas discharge.
The special coating can handle toxic, corrosive, and condensable gases; its simple design ensures easy maintenance.

Synchronous gear

Exhaust-side seal
Employing a triple sealing system consisting of mechanical sealing (labyrinth seal) + lip seal + nitrogen gas sealing, the lip seal is positioned at the front of the mechanical seal (labyrinth seal), providing the first line of defense against process media leakage. Inlet-side seal
